Seventeen years of companionship — forever in each other’s hearts.
This is my dad, resting with Robin, our 17-year-old cat. Robin is leaning gently against his chest. We took this photo that day… not knowing it would be their last one together.
That night, my dad passed away peacefully in his sleep — still holding the cat who had never left his side. Two days later, Robin followed him and left this world as well.
Some bonds are simply too strong to be broken.
Some love transcends time, distance, and even life itself.
I’d like to believe that somewhere beyond this world, my dad and Robin are together again — holding each other, just like in this photo. Forever. ❤️
