In Loving Memory of Yogi

Some stories are incredibly difficult to share… and this is one of them.

On Monday, a kind-hearted person found a sweet senior cat alone in a ditch, cold, wet, and desperately needing help. They rushed him to us, and that’s when we met Yogi.

From the moment he arrived, it was clear he had been through more than any cat ever should. His temperature was so low it couldn’t even be read. Our amazing vet team immediately began working to save him — warming him up, supporting him in every way possible, and hoping with all our hearts for a miracle.

We soon discovered his name was Yogi, thanks to a microchip that also told us he was 17 years old. Sadly, the contact information was no longer active, so we were unable to reach anyone who once loved him.

Yogi continued fighting, and we held onto hope right alongside him. But yesterday, our veterinary team delivered the devastating news that he was in the final stages of kidney failure and not responding to treatment. With heavy hearts, and surrounded by gentle, loving hands, Yogi was peacefully helped over the rainbow bridge. 💔

It hurts deeply to say goodbye — especially to a cat who clearly once had a home, who somehow ended up lost, alone, and struggling at the end of his life. But we take comfort in knowing this:

✨ Yogi did not leave this world cold in the rain.

✨ He spent his final days safe, warm, and cared for.

✨ He was held, loved, and given dignity until his very last moment.

We picture him now — healthy, whole again — chasing butterflies and basking in warm sunshine in kitty heaven. 🌤️💕

Rest easy, sweet Yogi. You deserved the world, and we’re grateful we could be there to give you love when you needed it most.

Your pawprints will stay in our hearts forever. 🐾💛
